For sale at REV is a very unique, completely restored, and highly upgraded 1993 Chevrolet C1500 Silverado, with the desirable Stepside Short Box. This vehicle came from the factory with power windows, power door locks, air conditioning, power brakes, and power steering. It spent it's entire life in the south, and therefore has not even a speck of rust underneath or on the body. It has been stored inside, and meticulously cared for with regular detailing and maintenance. No accidents reported, and the body lines are perfect and laser straight. What makes this particular example special, is that it was restored as a show truck that is capable of being a daily driver -- and was used as such by it's previous owner of 4 years. The factory Teal paint was redone with a "House of Color" 2-tone Teal and Silver metallic, a homage to the original color, sprayed professionally and with very minimal flaws. It's not your run of the mill paint job! The truck also sports a new chrome grille, replaced newer bumpers, 454SS sport mirrors, diamond plate accents on the bed, and stainless steel step covers. The wheels are 20" staggered Boss 338 'torque thrust' style rims, with a new set of summer tires. Subtle Corvette badging can be found throughout the exterior, and we will get to why in just a second. The interior was completely redone, with new upholstery on the seats and door panels, new headliner, and the factory bench seat was replaced with bucket seats and a center console similar to that found on the 454SS trucks of this generation. The factory radio was removed and replaced with a Sony bluetooth head unit with hands-free calling, component speakers mounted to custom kick mouldings, and a 10" Subwoofer behind the center console. This sound system really bumps, and will not disappoint! The best part about this tricked out Silverado though, is the engine. It was upgraded 3 years ago with a totally rebuilt and upgraded LT1 V8 out of a 1996 Z28 Camaro. The block was taken apart, bored .30 over (making this LT1 a 355), and rebuilt from the crankshaft up. It now sports the "reverse flow" aluminum heads from the 1994-1996 C4 Corvette LT1, a cold air Spectre intake, full headers and exhaust, and a Stage 1 camshaft. Horsepower is estimated at roughly 400 at the crankshaft. The exhaust is subtle, deep, and throaty. It is not raspy or loud, unless you are on the throttle. This is a gentleman's hot rod! The 4L80-E transmission was rebuilt and upgraded with a shift kit to handle the additional power. Shifts are firm, but still smooth. The rear axle has a Posi-trac LSD, with 3.42 gears. The full build specs of this engine are available, and we have a receipts and paperwork for practically everything else done on this truck. Factory A/C, Cruise Control, and gauges are all working as they should. The factory instrument cluster is replaced with a high-end Dakota Digital analog gauge set, with blue lighting and silver accents. Inside and out, this truck is one-of-a-kind and built RIGHT without cutting corners. With absolutely zero rust, bondo, accidents, or issues, it is sure to please it's future owner. If you are looking for a tastefully built hot rod C1500, this is the one you want! The 454SS won't stand a chance lined up at the red light against this truck. It will continue to appreciate in value over the years, and put a smile on your face anywhere you drive it.
