2005 Mercedes-Benz E-Class E 320 CDI

REV is pleased to offer this 2005 Mercedes E320 CDI, finished in Everest Green over Stone Leather. This Mercedes was recently acquired from it's second owner of 12 years, who purchased the car in 2012 with 21,870 miles. This example has been garage kept since day one, and it is immediately evident when you look this car over. The original Everest Green paint still looks as good now as it did when this car rolled off the showroom floor in 2005. It has never been in an accident or had any previous paintwork. The wheels are all in perfect condition, with no curb rash, and a set of Michelin all-season tires are mounted on all four corners. This CDI has spent it's entire life in Georgia and Alabama and was never exposed to salt. Maintenance records date back to 2012 in the form of both hand-written records and invoices from repair shops and the Mercedes dealership in GA. Oil changes were performed annually or every approximately 10k miles, cabin and air filters, coolant flushes, etc were all performed on time according to scheduled maintenance by OEM. Notable maintenance includes; at 94,000 miles the car had the #3 glow plug replaced. At 91k miles the engine mounts were replaced the sliding moonroof bonding recall was performed/inspected, and the transmission conductor sleeve was replaced. At 81k miles the Transmission was serviced. At 61k miles the front and rear brake pads/rotors were replaced, and brake fluid flushed. At 53k miles the water pump, belt tensioner and pulleys, belt, thermostat, and antifreeze was serviced. These 2005-2006 CDI E320 Mercedes were the last of a dying breed. The legendary inline 5 and 6 cylinder turbo-diesel engines that Mercedes produced from the 70's up through 2006 were built to stand the test of time. In 2007 Mercedes replaced this engine with the BLUTEC V6 diesel and a 7 speed automatic, which used DEF and is regarded as a much less reliable drivetrain. With proper maintenance these engines and transmissions commonly last 300k+ miles with minimal-to-no issues. You can expect 30+ mpg around town and 40+ mpg on the interstate without having to drive economically. It isn't like their old diesel engines either with lazy power, this OM648 engine was SPECIAL. It makes 369 lb ft of torque at just 1800 rpm! Effortless passing power!
